  • Laser hair removal is a safe and effective treatment designed to reduce unwanted hair by targeting the hair follicle at the root. By delivering controlled energy to the follicle, the treatment helps disrupt future hair growth while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

    This treatment can be used on a variety of areas including the face and body, helping to reduce ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and the need for frequent shaving or waxing.

    Most clients require a series of 6-12 treatments spaced several weeks apart for optimal results, as hair grows in different cycles.

    Over time, hair typically becomes finer, lighter, and grows back more slowly, leaving skin smoother and easier to maintain.

    • You may feel a quick snapping or warm sensation during treatment, similar to the snap of a rubber band. Treatment times vary depending on the size of the area being treated and may range from just a few minutes to about an hour. Mild redness, warmth, or slight swelling around the hair follicles is normal and typically resolves within a few hours. Hair in the treated area may begin to shed over the following 1–3 weeks. For best results, a series of 6-12 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended.

    • Shave the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment

    • Please do not wax, tweeze, thread, or use depilatory creams for 4–6 weeks prior, as the hair follicle must be present for treatment to be effective

    • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner for 2 weeks before treatment

    • Arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils, deodorant, makeup, or fragrance products in the treatment area

    • Notify your provider of any recent antibiotics, medications, or active skin irritation


    • Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, and intense workouts for 24 hours

    • Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF daily on exposed treated areas

    • Do not wax, tweeze, or thread between sessions, however shaving is okay

    • Avoid exfoliating products, scrubs, or active ingredients on the area for 3-5 days 

    • Mild redness and follicular bumps are normal and should resolve quickly

    Hair shedding over the next 1-3 weeks is expected and is a sign that the treatment is working.
